BrightStar Care Offers Star-Spangled Franchise Opportunity
BrightStar Care® offers incentive to returning military, reduces franchise fee by $25,000
GURNEE, Ill., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of President Obama's recent announcement calling for the withdrawal of 10,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan by the end of this year and a total of 33,000 by September 2012, BrightStar Care® is offering a discounted franchise fee to returning veterans.
Qualified veterans who approach BrightStar Care directly will be entitled to a $25,000 reduction in the company's $47,500 franchise fee. For those veterans utilizing the assistance of a broker, the reward is still powerful – they receive a $2,500 credit toward technology and national advertising fund fees.
"This is the first time we have offered a reduced franchise fee, and I can't think of a better group to receive this benefit than the men and women who have selflessly dedicated their lives to protecting our freedoms and liberties," said Shelly Sun, CEO of BrightStar Care, agreeing with President Obama's message that it is time for America to focus on nation building here at home. "These veterans will be returning to a difficult job market. Offering them an opportunity to start a successful business is the least we can do in recognition of their service."
BrightStar Care specializes in providing both medical and non-medical private duty homecare, as well as healthcare staffing to corporate clients. While senior citizens make up the majority of the company's private duty clientele, BrightStar Care also works with children, workers' compensation cases, long-term care and Veteran clients, as well as private trust and public guardian payers. BrightStar caregivers strive to improve their clients' quality of life, maintain their dignity, and relieve the stress that their families face on a day-to-day basis.
There are currently 13 military veterans who own and operate a BrightStar Care franchise.
