Bright Realty Golf Classic Celebrates Record Year!
DALLAS and FORT WORTH, Texas, May 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Annually rated as one of the Top 10 Charity Golf Events in the DFW Metroplex by the Dallas Business Journal, the Bright Realty Golf Classic benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters and presented by American Airlines Center celebrates 48th year.
Hosted at the Lakes at Castle Hills, the Bright Realty Golf Classic raised more than $200,000 to match at-risk youth with caring role models who will forever encourage them to reach their true potential. We could not have achieved this without the generosity of our Title Sponsor Bright Realty, Presenting Sponsor American Airlines Center, our golfers, and corporate sponsors.
This event's Honorary Host this year was former NBA player and ESPN analyst Stephen Howard. Howard challenged attendees to get involved in the local community and emphasized the power of mentoring. Big Brothers Big Sisters' Vice President of Board and Community Engagement Diana Aguirre said, "This year's golf tournament represents a huge win for the kids we serve in the local community. We continue to be humbled by the amount of support that we receive from people who want to find a way to help young people get ahead in life!"
