The 24/7 Dodgers TV Network Will Be Provided to Bright House Networks Bakersfield Customers In Time for Spring Training
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SportsNet LA, the new 24/7 TV network of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will be available to Bright House Networks Standard customers in Bakersfield starting February 25, when the new regional sports network launches. SportsNet LA will televise more than 140 live regular season Dodger games and a live Spring Training game every day, plus a full slate of original, classic and live studio programming that focuses only on the Dodgers, covering the team in a way that it's never been covered. SportsNet LA will take fans behind-the-scenes of the Dodgers and offer in-depth access into the organization, providing an immersive experience with never-before-seen content and thousands of hours of comprehensive Dodger programming. The network will launch in Bright House Networks Orlando, Tampa, Birmingham and Indianapolis service areas in March, and in its Detroit service area in April.
SportsNet LA will be available to Bright House Networks Standard customers in Bakersfield on channels 21 and 107 in Standard Definition and channel 1107 in High Definition.

Hall of Famer Vin Scully, Dodger legend Orel Hershiser and veteran Dodger announcer Charley Steiner will call all live games on SportsNet LA, with studio and original programming led by Dodger legend Nomar Garciaparra, recently-retired Dodger Jerry Hairston Jr. and veteran Los Angeles sports anchor John Hartung. Experienced baseball reporter Alanna Rizzo will serve as an in-game reporter for SportsNet LA, while also contributing to the network's live and original programming.
SportsNet LA's signature programming will include "Access SportsNet: Dodgers," a live, nightly studio show, "Backstage: Dodgers," a weekly documentary series that chronicles the Dodgers' season from start to finish, "Leadoff LA," a pre-game show featuring in-depth analysis and fan contributions via social media, the weekly show "Dodgers Clubhouse," the in-depth interview series "Connected With…," classic games on "Timeless Dodgers," hour-long "Dodgermentary" biographies, the "Talkin' Blue" roundtable show and much more.
