Bridgestone Receives FCA US Qualitas Foundational Principles Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgestone Corporation and its global family of companies (Bridgestone) received a Qualitas Foundational Principles Award from FCA US LLC. The award recognizes suppliers that display an extraordinary commitment to the Company's Foundational Principles of integrity, proactive collaboration and continuous improvement.

FCA US presented awards to North American strategic supplier partners that demonstrate operational excellence, as well as exhibit strong corporate values in areas such as diversity, innovation and sustainability. Martini, alongside Dale Ray, senior director, OE account management, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, accepted the honor at the Qualitas awards ceremony held in Detroit earlier this month.

FCA US Qualitas award recipients were determined using an evaluation of each company's performance in 2015. The rating system calculated supplier performance in key areas including quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership, and also included input from FCA US senior leadership.

This is the sixth year for the FCA US Qualitas awards.
