BRIDGE Energy Group's CEO, Tony Giroti, Elected to the GridWise® Architecture Council
Giroti joins other industry experts in power and information technology to work together towards the transformation of the nation's energy system
MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Feb. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BRIDGE Energy Group, Inc., the trusted advisor and implementation partner for providing Smart Grid Integration and Utility Solutions to the Energy industry, today announced that CEO, Tony Giroti, has been elected to the GridWise® Architecture Council (GWAC).
The GridWise Architecture Council, formed by the Department of Energy and comprised of 13 members, has the specific mission of articulating the guiding principles that constitute the architecture of an intelligent and collaborative energy system.
Mr. Giroti will join other practitioners and leaders with broad-based knowledge and expertise in power, information technology, telecommunications, and other fields to work towards a coordinated GridWise vision -- the transformation of the nation's energy system into a rich, collaborative network filled with decision-making information exchange and market-based opportunities.
