SEEKONK, Mass., Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Brides Across America and Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses are partnering to help brides of veterans, active military members and first responders find the wedding gown of their dreams at no cost. The Brides Across America Signature Event will take place Saturday, November 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Raymour & Flanigan showroom in Seekonk, located at 100 Highland Ave.
Brides-to-be must pre-register at www.bridesacrossamerica.com, and are encouraged to register early. Proof of deployment or first responder affiliation is required to participate and receive a free gown. All qualifying brides will receive a free wedding gown.
Guests can expect to be pampered by Brides Across America and Raymour & Flanigan, and will enjoy an array of dresses to choose from, as well as refreshments from Gasbarro's Wines and Sugar Mama's Sweets and Treats.
A past beneficiary of Brides Across America, Annibel C., describes her experience with the program: "My fiancé is currently overseas. Without the help of this program, I would not have been able to afford a wedding dress. There are lots of gowns to choose from, and I found the perfect one, along with a veil and a headpiece! I am so grateful to Brides Across America."
Brides Across America and its partners have donated more than 17,000 wedding gowns and gifted more than 20 weddings since its inception in 2008.
