GREENWICH, Conn., April 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerview Capital today announced that Brian K. Ratzan has joined the firm as a partner in its consumer private equity business. Mr. Ratzan brings 20 years of private equity experience and will co-manage Centerview's consumer business with David M. Hooper, co-founder and partner, and James M. Kilts, co-founder and partner.
Prior to joining Centerview, Mr. Ratzan was Partner and Head of U.S. Private Equity at Pamplona Capital Management. Before Pamplona, he was Partner and Head of Consumer at Vestar Capital Partners, where he worked with Mr. Hooper for many years.

Brian is a partner in Centerview Capital's consumer private equity business. Prior to joining Centerview Capital, Brian was Partner and Head of U.S. Private Equity at Pamplona Capital Management. Prior to joining Pamplona in 2012, he was Managing Director and Head of Consumer at Vestar Capital Partners, which he joined in 1998. Brian also previously worked at '21' International Holdings, a private investment firm, and in the Investment Banking Group at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.
Brian holds a BA from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
