Brian Epley to Lead North Highland's Public Sector Services in the Commonwealth of Virginia

RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- North Highland, a global consulting company, announced today that Brian Epley has joined the company as the public sector lead for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Epley will leverage over 17 years of experience leading complex business transformation, technical program operations, and service delivery in State and Federal government and the private sector.

"Brian brings broad expertise and leadership in the public sector arena and will be instrumental in supporting our services and developing our business strategy in the Commonwealth," said Rob Szumowski, vice president and local office leader for the Richmond Office. Prior to joining North Highland, Epley served in various leadership roles managing the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) and Northrop Grumman IT Infrastructure Partnership (ITP), a $2 billion transformation program to modernize Virginia's information technology infrastructure.

Epley earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He currently serves on the Virginia State University IT Advisory Council and Board of Directors for the VCU Business Society.
