Brian Conrad joins Braun Intertec in Kansas City
MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Braun Intertec, an engineering, consulting and testing firm with offices throughout the central United States, is pleased to announce Brian Conrad has joined our Kansas City office. Conrad joins the firm as a senior environmental scientist bringing nearly 20 years of field investigation and project management experience under state-led environmental programs and private consulting since 2004.
"We are pleased to welcome Brian as a new employee-owner to Braun Intertec," says Jon Carlson, CEO of Braun Intertec. "Brian's blend of experience in environmental policy, private-sector due diligence and brownfield site redevelopment will be a major asset to our firm as we continue to grow in the greater Kansas City market."
Conrad's broad experience allows him to support the needs of the business community and environmental regulation through innovative and risk-based strategies designed specifically for the property's end use. This experience includes the EPA Brownfields Redevelopment Initiative and the leveraged use of redevelopment grant funding in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.
Conrad has managed hundreds of environmental site assessments, groundwater investigations and environmental cleanups as both a private consultant and state official. In addition to soil and groundwater remediation, his site redevelopment experience also includes the reclamation of historic structures affected by asbestos, lead paint and biological hazards.
