Brenen Hofstadter of Generational Capital Markets, Presents as a Faculty Member at the 2014 International Financial Forum in New York City
DALLAS, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Financial Forum is a private, invitation only Summit bringing together over 500 of the world's most active cross border dealmakers and other key international market experts – academics, media, and political influencers - to engage in interactive sessions about the key issues in the international M&A markets today. The Forum is comprised of three feature events: the BRICS In The World Summit, the Cross Border M&A Symposium and the 6th Annual International M&A Awards. The Forum was hosted on April 7 & 8, 2014 by The M&A Advisor and Forum das Americas at the The Plaza and the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
Brenen Hofstadter, President of Generational Capital Markets, Inc. (GCM), Member FINRA/SIPC, represented GCM and its affiliate Generational Equity, LLC at the Forum. Mr. Hofstadter participated as a faculty member of the Best Practices of the Best Cross Border Dealmakers. He provided a case study on the recent sale of his client WB Johnston Grain to CGB Enterprises, Inc., wholly owned by two multi-billion revenue Japanese agriculture firms Zen-Noh and Itochu. During the case study Hofstadter stated, "CGB is a very experienced acquirer and certainly they considered all of the typical valuation metrics including private and public comparables, multiples of EBITDA, realty valuations, and their own extensive past experience. Ultimately, I believe, we were able to reach an agreement due to the buyers' long-term view to broaden their global access to farmers and food production. As I understand, securing food source supply lines is a priority that is on par with national defense in Japan."
Hofstadter also commented, "WB Johnston Grain was founded in 1893, 14 years before Oklahoma became a state. My clients were the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation of family owners and had built an exceptional management and employee team - this fit well with CGB's criteria and culture."
Ryan Binkley, President of Generational Equity, LLC stated, "We are quite proud of the recognition that Brenen has received from the deal community for his hard work on WB Johnston Grain. His efforts reflect the dedication and passion our entire team has for our clients."
