"Break Away from the Old and into the New You" Fashion Show, Striving to Change Foster Care Lives For the Better -- One Runway Walk At a Time!

PHOENIX, April 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In hopes to raise funds for local foster home, Style Stalkers – an innovative fashion consulting company and sponsors joined forces to create an incredible and FREE red carpet fashion show. This show will electrify your senses with vivacious fashion, talent, and music as well as your heart – because 100% of every single dollar donated will go to foster home, Sunshine Acres. Models will dress the runway on Thursday, April 25^th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at 3520 E. Brown Road, Mesa AZ with fashions by designer, Natalia Acosta and Dillard's.

Since opening their doors in 1954, Sunshine Acres has been home to more than 1,600 youths. Since opening, not one child has been turned away for financial reasons. With the help of proceeds raised from the show, there's hope to provide more youths with a safe and loving place to call home.

"No matter what the past holds, there's always an opportunity to break away from the old and step into a new place of positive possibilities, which is what inspired us to support all of the Positive Possibilities that enter Sunshine Acres every single day," says Leslie Swann, Fashion Show Director. "For a cause this special, we didn't want to just put on a show, we wanted to put on THE Show that guarantees the kind of awareness we need to truly make a social impact," says Ketonya Mattox-Bankston, Founder of Style Stalkers, LLC.

Community support has been extremely positive, as more than a dozen NFL players happily signed up to walk the runway for charity – including Arizona Cardinals Wide-Receiver, Larry Fitzgerald.  Joining the runway will be Arizona Diamondback Players, local celebrities, and 2013 Grammy Nominee, Radmilla Cody. In addition to the substantial on-stage support, a plethora of off-stage support has appeared from attending invited guest, Governor Jan Brewer, Senator Leah Landrum Taylor, and Mayor Greg Stanton to name a few.
