Bravado Appoints Deane Marcus to General Manager in the U.S.
NEW YORK, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Bravado, the world's leading global music merchandising company, has appointed Deane Marcus to General Manager of the company's U.S. operations, it was announced today by Tom Bennett, Chief Executive Officer of Bravado and to whom Mr. Marcus will report.

Most recently, Mr. Marcus worked at Sony Music Entertainment, initially as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Zomba Label Group (including Jive, LaFace, Volcano and Verity Records), where he was responsible for operations, business development, finance and administration. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President of New Ventures for the RCA/JIVE Label Group (encompassing Jive, Zomba, RCA and J Records). In this role, Mr. Marcus was responsible for developing RCA/JIVE's 360 rights' businesses, launching and overseeing the group's merchandising, music publishing and film & television activities.
Prior to joining Sony, he was Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning & Business Development for Warner Music Group from 1994 to 2003. Mr. Marcus' extensive background also includes positions in investment banking at Alpine Capital Group and Mabon Securities Corp. He has also founded his own real estate company and worked in various financial positions for CBS Inc. and CBS Records Group.
