BrassCraft Manufacturing Hosts Annual Plumbers Forum
NOVI, Mich., Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BrassCraft Manufacturing hosted its annual Plumbers' Forum last month which included top plumbing professionals from across the country invited to share ideas, best practices, industry knowledge and feedback to better serve customers and the end consumer.
Forum participants were invited because they consistently excel in their business and are leaders in the plumbing industry. Each participant benefited from discussions with members of the BrassCraft Manufacturing team, including representatives from engineering, product management, marketing and sales. The group also had the opportunity to meet with other plumbers to share experiences and discuss best practices.
"The Plumber's Forum gives us a platform to hear directly from our customers and use their input across-the-board, whether it's in product development or process improvement," said Jeffrey Jollay, vice president, Marketing & Product Development, BrassCraft Manufacturing. "It also helps to continue our leadership role in promoting the design of quality, innovative and high performing plumbing products."
Roger Peugeot, aka "Roger the Plumber," from Overland Park, Kansas, said that valuable information was shared by BrassCraft Manufacturing and also shared among the plumbers themselves. "The group was very diverse and we learned a lot from each other which I found eye-opening. And when that new product hits the market, you feel like you are an important part of the process," added Peugeot.
Apprentice Plumber Allie Perez attended on behalf of Mr. Plumber in San Antonio, Texas. "It is terribly important to BrassCraft to get this real feedback, and they were not afraid to be told something was not a good idea," she said. "They really think about the people who buy their products."
Michael Farias, founder of Plumbing Doctor and the Plumbing Doctor Franchise System, was impressed with the company's willingness to invest in the trades and to listen to the voice of the contractor out in the field using their products. "I appreciate that a company with the size and reputation of BrassCraft is taking an active role," said Farias. "It is rare to get this kind of support from manufacturers and national suppliers."
