Brandon D. Hylton Receives Crawford's Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship

ATLANTA, May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, recently named Brandon D. Hylton, a sophomore majoring in business administration at Morehead State University, as the sixth recipient of its Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship.

Hylton, from Regina, Ky., maintains a 3.5 grade point average and has been named to the dean's list. He has distinguished himself as a student leader within the School of Business Administration and is active on the school's Student Advisory Council, according to the letter of recommendation written by a faculty member as part of the application for the $2,500 annual scholarship.

As a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a service-based fraternity that strives to advance music in America, Hylton has participated in a variety of community activities, including cleaning up a designated highway in the Morehead area and traveling to nearby nursing homes to sing to residents. He also serves as treasurer of the fraternity.

The Greg Threet Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Greg Threet, who was an assistant branch manager in Crawford's U.S. Property & Casualty office in Lexington, Ky.
