"I am excited to have Brandon taking over as ADVP of District 4," affirmed EVP Bob Willson. "Brandon has worked hard to provide our customers with quality service and well-maintained equipment while serving successfully within many roles for U-Haul. Brandon's enthusiastic leadership will continue to help improve the district with his knowledge of U-Haul programs as well as his commitment to our Primary Service Objective."
Blaskowski began his U-Haul career in April 1999 as a customer service representative (CSR) for U-Haul Moving and Storage of Oshkosh. In August 2000 he was promoted to general manager (GM) of U-Haul Moving and Storage of Oshkosh, the position he held before being promoted to field relief manager (FRM) for U-Haul Company of Eastern Wisconsin in May 2005. Several months later Blaskowski transferred to area field manager (AFM) for U-Haul Company of Eastern Wisconsin. Most recently, Blaskowski was serving as marketing company president of U-Haul Company of North Shore Chicago. Today, as ADVP, he will oversee all operations of U-Haul District 4.
In assuming his new role as ADVP, Blaskowski is looking forward to bringing his hands-on approach to field operations, with the goal of increasing District 4's service to the communities in its market. With many opportunities to increase profits throughout the district, as ADVP he has set his goals on doing so and is ready to challenge himself and his new team to meet these goals. Blaskowski explained that the biggest strength of District 4 lies in dedicated team members, and he wants to make certain his new team knows he will strive to bring his own U-Haul knowledge, experience and expertise to the plate in order to help continue the development of the districts' biggest asset…the hardworking men and women who make up its workforce.
"I want it to be clear to my team members that I am here to help with anything at anytime," Blaskowski said.
Blaskowski feels very fortunate to have been surrounded by what he calls "Five Star" dedicated U-Haul Team members throughout his entire career, and is honored to have learned something from every person he has been associated with over the years. Blaskowski remembers when he first joined Team U-Haul: His father Jim said to him, "Implement U-Haul programs and you'll be successful." Blaskowski said he has lived by his father's advice all through his U-Haul career, and plans to continue to do so every day he comes to work.
