The brand new "BrainPOP Featured Movie" app – downloadable from iTunes – was created specifically for the iPad. This new platform allows BrainPOP to deliver fresh, animated movies every day, with content relevant to significant historical and current events such as Earth Awareness and Financial Literacy topics in April. After watching the daily Featured Movie, students can test their new knowledge with the accompanying interactive quiz.
BrainPOP's topics span Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Arts & Music, Health, and Technology.
"The new app is just one example of how BrainPOP stands out at the forefront of educational resources," said Avraham Kadar, M.D., CEO and Chairman of BrainPOP. "The unique iPad screen, combined with BrainPOP's content, draws students (kids and 'grown-up kids') into an immediate and personal learning experience. The beautifully designed Featured Movie iPad app creates a fun, new way to boost knowledge daily and to access learning anywhere."
The BrainPOP Featured Movie app can be downloaded from iTunes.
BrainPOP also offers its free Featured Movie to educational blogs and websites: www.brainpop.com/educators/featured_movie/.
