Brain and Body Founder Travels the Globe with Cameras and a Big Brain for New Web Reality Series
Lynette Louise launches Indiegogo Campaign to complete the last three episodes of FIX IT IN FIVE
SIMI VALLEY, Calif., July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Action, awareness, answers and brain science are being offered with humor and an important respect for humanity in the new reality series FIX IT IN FIVE with LYNETTE LOUISE aka THE BRAIN BROAD. Brain and Body founder Lynette Louise has finished filming the first two episodes, travelling all the way to Uganda with her signature piece: a huge brain that engages the children! This series will bring her unique blend of play therapy, neurofeedback and family dynamics training straight to struggling families via the internet. Lynette already travels the world as a therapist, working intimately in homes of families with brain disorders, most commonly autism. She effectively guides whole families into the role of expert regarding the healing in their homes. However, because there is only one of her and it can get very expensive Lynette says, "It's just not enough!"
Lynette Louise is well known for sharing her teachings in unique and effectively fun ways. As the host of A New Spin on Autism: Answers, a podcast that is available at WebTalkRadio.com free of charge twice a month, she invites guest experts from an array of fields (stand-up comedy, neuroscience and clowning to name a few!) and together they discover surprising autism answers. As a performer she has written and performed her one woman musical comedy show CRAZY TO SANE around the globe; sharing the life lessons she learned as the mother of eight—four with autism—and challenged individual herself along with the brain science she came to learn in order to heal herself, her children and eventually hundreds of others around the world, using inspirational humor and toe-tapping tunes .
Launching an Indiegogo campaign in order to see her latest project come to fruition is an exciting next step! According to Lynette, "I just can't align with the bigger more networked disability associations because their agendas and financial obligations threaten to get in the way of my clients healing. What I do works, for every family. That has to be seen, not compromised." This reality series is a wonderful way to offer her skills to families who otherwise could not afford her help. Also, by allowing cameras to film her with the lucky family--and the huge brain she travels with!-- it becomes possible to show exactly what it is that she does, while explaining exactly why it works! Play therapy, neurofeedback and family dynamics training look different on each family, but the underlying belief in each person and curious detective work that Lynette does with love and fun remains the same. By filming the process with five very different families if five very different cultures, the sameness will become clear and families will be able to adapt it in their own homes. Hopefully, too, they will feel a renewed hope, energy and connectedness to others!

Lynette Louise raised eight children – four of them were on the spectrum of autism. She was able to guide all but one out of autism and into independence. Lynette founded Brain and Body and now travels internationally, performing and speaking on the subject of autism and the efficacy of neurofeedback (biofeedback for the brain). A PhD candidate at UNM College of Psychophysiology, she is a smarty pants in touch with her silly side! AKA The Brain Broad!
