Bradley C.F. Angst - Joins George K. Baum & Company's Albuquerque Office
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Investment bank George K. Baum & Company ("GKB") announced today that Brad Angst, Vice President, will be joining the New Mexico Public Finance Group. He will focus on broadening opportunities for the Firm throughout the region. With significant experience working with states, municipalities, special districts, utilities, school districts, colleges and universities, independent schools, and other non-profit entities, Mr. Angst will bring George K. Baum & Company's 'client-first' philosophy and execution platform to local borrowers.

About Mr. Angst
Mr. Angst first joined George K. Baum & Company in 2008, left briefly, and rejoined in 2014. He is responsible for providing comprehensive investment banking and financial advisory services, which include the transaction execution and quantitative structuring of tax-exempt and taxable debt financings. Mr. Angst has been involved with more than 175 debt issuances totaling more than $12 billion in par amount using structures which include general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, lease-backed obligations and short-term notes, amongst others. Mr. Angst holds a BS in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from Colorado State University. As a professional, he has completed additional education which includes governmental accounting, business law and financial analysis of local governments. Mr. Angst currently holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
