Brad is an Attorney with the firm of Peck, Shaffer & Williams LLP and routinely serves as Bond Counsel, Underwriter's Counsel, Bank Counsel and Special Counsel.

Brad has over 15 years of experience in public finance and is widely known for his insightful analyses of public finance projects from both economic and legal perspectives. His areas of concentration include serving as Bond Counsel for state and local governments, including counties, cities, schools, townships and libraries, as well as for non-profit organizations such as hospitals, cultural institutions, nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  Other areas of concentration include tax-exempt leasing and stadium financings.

Additionally, Brad is regularly called upon to address governmental and quasi-governmental councils, boards and authorities on public finance issues. He has served as a speaker at meetings of state and local government entities, including the State of Ohio, counties, municipalities, treasurers, trustees and the Ohio Municipal League.

Brad has authored works on "Bank Qualification" and "De Minimis," Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, as well as deficit reduction.  In addition, he has served as Co-Editor of the Tax-Exempt Leasing Letter since 2009.

Brad is a member of many professional organizations including the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), the Association of Governmental Leasing and Finance (AGLF), Xavier University Board of Executive Advisors for Economics, Chase College of Law Board of Advisors, the Cincinnati and Ohio State Bar Associations. In addition, Brad serves as the Chair of the Tax-Exempt Leasing Panel for NABL.

As a result of his 15 years of legal excellence, Brad has been recognized for his vast accomplishments. He has been named "2005 Rising Star" and "2006 Rising Star" by Cincinnati Law and Politics Magazine, and been featured as a Cincy Leading Lawyer from 2006 - 2012, by Cincy Business Magazine.

Brad earned his J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1996, and received his B.S.B.A. from Xavier University in 1992.
