Brad Fluegel Joins Health Integrated Board of Directors

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Integrated, Inc., a recognized innovator in care management strategies for vulnerable, fragile and at-risk individuals, has appointed healthcare industry veteran Brad Fluegel to its board of directors. Fluegel, senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Walgreen Co., the nation's largest drugstore chain, started serving as a Health Integrated director in July 2013.

In his role at Walgreens, Fluegel is responsible for corporate strategy, business development and project management. Fluegel joined Walgreens in October 2012, after serving as an executive in residence at Health Evolution Partners, a private equity firm for healthcare companies. Previously, Fluegel served as executive vice president and chief strategy and external affairs officer for Wellpoint, one of the largest health benefits companies in the U.S. He also had leadership roles at Aetna, a leading healthcare management company, and Reden & Anders and Tillinghast-Towers Perrin, management consulting firms in healthcare.

Early in his career, Fluegel held several positions in strategy, planning and product development, and management at Harvard Community Health Plan, and led audits and feasibility studies for healthcare clients at Arthur Andersen &Co. He has a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and a bachelor of arts in business administration from the University of Washington.
