BPC Issues Iran Deal Timeline for Major Provisions
WASHINGTON, Sept. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Bipartisan Policy Center on Thursday issued an Iran Deal Timeline which shows how key components of the agreement will look after implementation. The timeline can be seen at bpcdc.org/iran-deal-timeline.
"As Congress returns to debate the Iran deal, it will be critical to understand what the agreement does and does not do," Blaise Misztal, BPC's director of national security, said.
"Although some provisions of the final deal remain in place for up to 25 years, one of the most contentious issues is likely to be that provisions in several critical areas—such as research and production of advanced centrifuges—begin to lapse in as early as eight years," he said.
Blaise Misztal is available for comment on the Iran deal.
