Bozzuto Land Company Names New Land Acquisition Manager

GREENBELT, Md., April 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bozzuto Group, a Washington, D.C. area based real estate services organization, today named Timothy Phillips Land Acquisition Manager for Bozzuto Land Company, one of its six companies.

"While Phillips will be primarily responsible for finding opportunities for Bozzuto's homebuilding and apartment development subsidiaries, his skills and knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic market will be of great help in the pursuit of new business opportunities for all of our operations," said John B. Phillips was previously an investment real estate broker and advisor at Marcus & Millichap, where he managed a satellite branch office and represented and advised clients ranging from individuals to REITs on property acquisition and disposition in single asset and portfolio contexts.

Prior to his real estate career, Phillips spent eight years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland, and is pursuing a research degree in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
