ATLANTA, June 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Boys & Girls Clubs of America has implemented an enhanced IT network to better support its 4,300 Club locations, thanks to a large-scale donation from Juniper Networks. The new hardware will replace the youth advocacy organization's existing IT infrastructure and support new technology platforms that will roll out over the next two years.
"As a data-driven organization, it is so important that we have the infrastructure to support our national initiatives and the many programs and services we provide to Clubs nationwide," said Stan Kubis, CIO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. "This new network from Juniper, and improved capabilities to monitor and secure, will grant us access to better reporting, more sophisticated, real-time technology platforms and superior support for our Club locations overall."
Boys & Girls Clubs of America will launch a new Member Management System over the next year, which is now possible due to the upgraded IT network. The system and support from Juniper will also allow the organization to improve programs like My.Future, a project-based technology platform designed in partnership with Comcast that is available to all Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide.
"The Juniper Foundation is pleased to support the build out of the network for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Juniper Networks is a company built on innovation and this network will provide a wealth of new online programs to enable the organization to build the next generation of engineers, critical thinkers and thought leaders," added Stacey Clark Ohara, Senior Director of Juniper Networks Foundation.
