Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado Awarded Seven New Grants By Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation
Grants provide $5,000 to each Club to support Triple Play healthy lifestyles program
DENVER, Nov. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado are in great shape for the new school year, thanks to $35,000 in total Triple Play grants from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation. Triple Play, sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, is Boys & Girls Clubs of America's (BGCA) leading healthy lifestyles program, making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of kids and teens during the critical after-school time at Boys & Girls Clubs around the country.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation will be issuing the Triple Play grants to the following Clubs to encourage healthy eating and physical activities for Club members:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County – Eastside Center Risley Middle School
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County – Sprague Center
- Boys & Girls Clubs of San Luis Valley – Alamosa Unit
- Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pikes Peak Region – El Pomar Unit
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Pikes Peak Region – Tutt Unit
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County – Loveland Pulliam Unit
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County – Wellington Unit

The Triple Play grants announced today are part of a five-year, $10 million commitment from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation's parent company foundation to BGCA to promote healthy lifestyles.
