Boston Real Estate Agent Wins $2,500 REALTOR® Good Neighbor Award

BOSTON, July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In front of a crowd of his colleagues and friends, Kenneth Tutunjian was honored at the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) Annual Awards Brunch on June 25 at the Oakley Country Club as the co-winner of the 2015 GBAR Good Neighbor Award. Kenneth also received a $2,500 grant for an organization close to his heart, Community Servings of Jamaica Plain. Ken is the Manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Newbury St., Boston. The co-winner for this award was Sara Rosenfeld, of Coldwell Banker Cambridge, who also works closely with Ken for Community Servings.

The Good Neighbor Award is modeled closely after that given by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and recognizes real estate professionals for their community activism. Recipients of the award have made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their communities through volunteer work.

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program that provides services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. They provide their clients – the dependent families and caregivers – with appealing, nutritious meals, which sends the message to those in need that someone is caring for them. The goals of Community Servings are to help their clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally-appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs. Ken is very involved in an annual program fundraiser called "Pie in the Sky". Pie in the Sky fosters community spirit and engages the public in Community Servings' mission. Every November, Boston's best restaurants, bakeries, caterers, and hotels donate thousands of pies that over 700 volunteers then sell to family, friends, and colleagues.
