NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ALM's Consulting magazine announced that The Boston Consulting Group (BGC) is listed as the No. 1 consulting firm on its annual ranking of Best Firms to Work For. This marks the fourth straight year atop the survey rankings for BGC, which is the only firm to appear on the list every year since the survey's 2001 debut. In that time, BCG has never been ranked outside of the Top 5.
In 2017, the firm outpaced the competition among the six facets of employee satisfaction the survey measures: Firm Culture, Career Development, Compensation & Benefits, Client Engagement, Firm Leadership and Work/Life Balance.
The complete survey findings are published in the September issue of Consulting magazine and can be found on http://www.consultingmag.com/sites/cmag/2017/09/07/september-2017-issue/.
"There's simply no denying BCG is the very best consulting firm to work for right now. The numbers don't lie—BCG finished as the best overall firm in five of the six categories the survey measures, with Work/Life Balance being the only outlier. Simply astounding," said Joseph Kornik, Consulting magazine's Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. "That level of consistency is very difficult to achieve, and the firm's leadership deserves plenty of credit for their success."
