Boston Borders Supports Local Veterans — Teams with Disabled American Veterans to Host Mobile Service Office June 27

BOSTON, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Borders on School Street is teaming with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to host a Mobile Service Office (MSO) June 27 to support the needs of local veterans.

The DAV's MSO program is designed to educate and assist disabled veterans and their families about specific veteran's benefits. Those who want to file compensation and disability claims,  inquire about continuing education opportunities for veterans,  or have general questions about veterans' benefits are encouraged to visit the MSO, which will parked in front of the store from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit the store at 10-24 School Street, Boston, MA 02108.

25% In-Store Discount

The Borders on School Street – as well as all Borders, Waldens, Borders Express and Airport stores nationwide – is extending to active and retired military and their dependents a 25% discount off the list price of nearly everything in-store Tuesday, June 29 through Sunday, July 4.  

Borders Benefit Days

In addition, the store will host a "Benefit Day" on July 8 and 9 to support the work of the DAV.

Throughout the year, Border's stores partner with nonprofits across the country to host Benefit Days -- fundraising events where supporters of the nonprofits shop on a designated day. Borders donates up to 30% of the day's net sales to the participating organization. To obtain a voucher in support of the DAV Benefit Day, customers can visit or call the store at (617) 557-7188.
