Bosideng Launches New Collections with Three International Designers
SHANGHAI, Oct. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Bosideng, the China-based leader in down outerwear, is releasing its collaborative capsule collections with three top international fashion designers - former Ralph Lauren design director Tim Coppens, former Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton designer Antonin Tron, and Yohji Yamamoto's collaborator Ennio Capasa - to present the prefect marriage of international top-notch fashion aesthetics and outstanding down apparel expertise.
The collections created with the three internationally renowned designers will make their debut in Beijing on October 27 and officially hit the market on November 5.
TIM COPPENS
An alumni of the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and recognized as one of the "Ten of Tomorrow Rising Stars" in fashion, American designer Tim Coppens has served in top roles in prominent fashion houses, including working as the design director at Ralph Lauren and the creative director at Karl Lagerfeld before founding his own eponymous fashion label. He currently serves as the executive design director at Under Armour.
His innovative fusionist style has earned him some of the most distinguished fashion awards and recognitions in the world, including the CFDA Swarovski Award for "Emerging Menswear Designer of the Year" (2014), LVMH Prize Finalist (2014) and multiple CFDA "Menswear Designer of the Year" nominations.

The founder of ATLEIN and a recipient of the ANDAM Fashion Award, French designer Antonin Tron has served as the chief designer at illustrious international fashion labels such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Givenchy. His past experiences granted him the in-depth knowledge of French luxury brands' vitality: the ability to deliver fascinating showpieces, to excel in commercial collections, and to establish an impactful identity visually.
Being a trekking enthusiast, Antonin Tron's capsule series in his collaborative collection with Bosideng drew inspiration from his experience of scaling the Himalayas and other outdoor activities. Featuring stylish contemporary silhouette and elegant French tailoring, the collection brings forward down-filled puffer jackets, parkas, zipped jackets and sportswear. ENNIO CAPASA
Italian designer Ennio Capasa has experience of working with Yohji Yamamoto, who is known to be the pioneer in modern fashion. His style is described as being "elegant and avant-garde" by international media. New York Times, for example, credited him for having "revolutionized men's fashion in the 1990's". Capasa has focused on fashion design for 32 years and has won multiple prominent fashion awards including Italian Designer of the Year and the La Kore award. CoSTUME NATIONAL, the Italian ready-to-wear brand founded by him in 1986, has been loved by many Hollywood celebrities including Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé Knowles.
