BOScoin Signs MOU with Nature Mobility, Setting Out to Promote Innovative Ridesharing
SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea's first blockchain project BOScoin (www.boscoin.io, CEO: Yezune Choi, Company name: BlockchainOS) announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nature Mobility (CEO: Jusang Lee) to carry out public financing for an innovative rideshare project for all transportation options including bicycles, rental cars, cars, buses, and vans on BOScoin's mainet using its blockchain technology.
As a unified platform for implementing smart and fair mobility aligned with the blockchain era, Nature Mobility is committed to providing a safe, reliable and convenient mobility service. Nature Mobility is currently working on building a platform to raise the status of bicycles and scooters in Jeju Island as symbolic transport choices that represent the region from a means for recreation and leisure among tourists. Also, it plans to offer convenient services including "Bundling" which allows customers to try out different vehicles under the common brand "ZZIMCAR" created by small rent-a-car companies and local merchants to compete in the rent-a-car industry which has been dominated by big companies. Starting from Jeju Island, Nature Mobility plans to expand the service to other places like Guam and Okinawa, shaping the future of the mobility industry.
Partnering with BOScoin, Nature Mobility plans to launch a platform based on reliable data and address the information asymmetry issue which occurs in the entire cycle of buying a new car, renting, sharing, selling a used car and scrapping. As the mobility market is connected with many industries, public financing on BOScoin's mainnet will help the company build an ecosystem fast and make it sustainable.
"With major global market research firms predicting the future of vehicles as electric cars, self-driving cars and MaaS (Mobility as a Service), it is time to provide optimized electric cars to the domestic market and suggest a concept of transportation as a service such as a rent-a-car service and personal mobility service," said Jusang Lee, CEO of Nature Mobility. "Starting with Jeju Island, we will expand the service nationwide and worldwide."
"We decided to work together with Nature Mobility on its project as the company consists of experts who are currently involved in the areas of car rental, logistics, sales, service planning, strategy and development and is capable of predicting and diagnosing exactly how the mobility innovation will affect each industry," said Yezune Choi, CEO of BOScoin. "We will create a new platform where profits are shared among members of the community by competing fairly with transparent information, departing from a structure where a particular platform monopolizes the information as well as profit."
Meanwhile, BOScoin will hold a "BOScoin Partners Meetup" together with its 4 partners that were selected through the Reverse ICO Partner Program. The program was announced in June this year. Four projects from PayExpress, Korea Cashback, Forbiz and Nature Mobility will be introduced in the meet up which will be held in the Plaza Hotel on September 3rd (Mon). Anyone who is interested in participating can register with Onoffmix.
