BOScoin GG56 PayExpress Signed Trilateral MOU, First Step in Introducing Blockchain-based Payment System
- MOU with GG56 Corporation Limited and PayExpress -- Facilitates BOScoin's global crypto payment market entry
- Tickets to global tourist attractions will be made available with BOScoins by Q2 2019
SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- BOScoin (CEO: Yezune Choi, Company name: BlockchainOS), Korea's first initial coin offering project suggesting a new financing methodology, announced that a trilateral MOU with GG56 Corporation Limited (CEO: Seunghyuk Cha) which offers tourist kiosk solutions alongside its existing partner PayExpress (CEO: Jaehyang Kim) which offers blockchain-based payment solutions, was signed on December 18.
Through this MOU, a blockchain-based payment solution using BOScoin will be added to kiosk ticketing services in the second quarter of next year at tourist attractions located both domestic and abroad, while GG56 Corporation Limited will eligible for BOScoin's "Public Financing (PF)" program to raise funds.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, GG56 Corporation Limited has been offering a global kiosk platform solution which includes the operating ticketing system and terminal devices (kiosk) for tourist attractions since 2013. GG56 Corporation Limited offers ticket solutions in Korea, China, and Indonesia. The company also plans to expand its business to other Asian countries such as Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia. It is also planning to expand to Europe in 2019.
BOScoin co-founder and CEO Yezune Choi said, "After BOScoin's Mainnet launch and our partnership announcements, we have been working towards tangible business development." He added, "With the MOU I hope to work more closely with our partners in bringing the actual use case of BOScoin in real life."
PayExpress CEO Jaehyang Kim said, "Until now, kiosk payment modules were mainly based on PG, credit cards, and cash, but due to the trilateral cooperation, BOScoin will be able to be used in everyday life through blockchain-based payment accepting kiosks." He pointed out, "It is significant that this taps into 300 million potential consumers who use movie theatres, soccer stadiums, duty free shops, and other ticketing services especially in Korea, China, Indonesia, and other Asian countries."
An official of GG56 Corporation Limited said, "Our profit model comes from company owned kiosk terminals which charges clients a minimal transaction fee based on actual sales. Initial equipment investment is a large cost hurdle in mass deployment of kiosks." He added, "Through BOScoin's Public Financing and PayExpress' loan service, we now have access to flexible financing resources and can launch aggressive business expansions. Also we have positive expectations for contributions from the BOScoin community."
Meanwhile, BOScoin has been searching for partners among small and medium sized companies that may benefit the community through the Reverse ICO Partnership Program it announced in June. After the successful announcement and transfer of Mainnet in November and December, at "BOSCON 2018," a conference held on December 7th, "Membership Reward PF," the world's first 1-vote per person blockchain-based community voting was approved by 97.38%. With the passing of the first voting, all efforts have been made to put Public Financing into action, which will raise funds for partner companies.
