SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- BOScoin (CEO: Yezune Choi, Company name: BlockchainOS), Korea's first initial coin offering project implementing a new financing methodology, announced that a trilateral MOU with O2&B (CEO: Seunghyun Ban) which offers drinking water purification solution was signed on January 4 alongside existing partner PayExpress (CEO: Jaehyang Kim) which offers blockchain-based payment solutions.
O2&B develops technology to purify massive volume of water at low cost and installs water purifying systems under a vison of helping everyone around the world in being able to drink purified water. Since 2007, O2&B has installed purification facilities for local governments and households in developing countries in Africa and Asia, where water supply systems infrastructure is not yet available.
With this MOU O2&B joined the BOScoin ecosystem, becoming a candidate for "Public Financing". In addition, O2&B will be able to have access to blockchain-based payment systems, loan services, mileage programs, overseas remittance and other financial services with the help of PayExpress, an existing BOScoin partner.
O2&B has a real-time monitoring system to oversee its facilities to maintain quality and has also further developed a system to supply purified water easily in kiosk form. O2&B plans to issue "Water Coins," which will later be incorporated into the BOScoin ecosystem after an approval process named "Congress Voting."
O2&B CEO Seunghyun Ban said, "By joining BOScoin ecosystem, we expect to be able to compete with global leading competitor, a French company with sales higher than 10 billion Euros."
BOScoin co-founder and CEO Yezune Choi said, "It is a great example of showing how BOScoin ecosystem can contribute to all those who lack sufficient drinking water. We expect to see synergy from other BOScoin partners at the water kiosks. This effort shows that the BOScoin town, which BOScoin is aiming to build, is possible in both developed and developing countries."
PayExpress CEO Jaehyang Kim said, "Through the Ad-action platform of PayExpress, we will provide advertising opportunities to advertisers and eventually provide free drinking water to local people." He added, "With the collaboration with existing partner GG56 Corporation Limited which offers tourist kiosk solutions and Korea Cashback which helps Korean tourist attractions to rise, we hope to help contribute to tourist industry of developing countries."
