Bosch Supports Formula SAE® Student Competition at Michigan International Speedway
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: |
Join Bosch at the Michigan International Speedway on May 8-11 for the Formula SAE Series competition. Michigan has the highest concentration of engineering jobs in the nation and employment in the field is expected to rise 11 percent from 2010 to 2020, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Filling those jobs with qualified candidates means making an investment early in a student's career. In an effort to support science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, and provide real-world experience to engineering students across the U.S., employers, like Bosch, are supporting organizations that enhance hands-on learning for students. Formula SAE is just one example. |
Bosch is the Design Awards sponsor supporting Formula SAE, a competition that challenges students to design Formula-style racing cars and encourages real-world problem solving to cultivate engineering skills. |
