Booz Allen Hamilton Launches Town Hall Series on the Enterprise Mindset for Mission Success at November 14th Defense One Summit in Washington, D.C.
Government Executive Media Group to Produce and Moderate "The Smart Command Series"
WASHINGTON, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Booz Allen Hamilton, with support from Government Executive Media Group's Defense One custom events business, will launch "The Smart Command Series," (on Twitter: #SmartCommand) announced both organizations today. This series will feature four town hall events across the country from Nov. 2013 through March 2014 focusing on putting innovative, interoperable technologies into the hands of warfighters more rapidly, efficiently, and cost effectively.
This series kicks off in Washington, D.C. as part of the Defense One Summit, a full day event convening key defense and national security stakeholders to discuss trends and ideas for the next era of global security. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel will headline a deep speaker lineup of defense leaders. The Smart Command Series town hall, scheduled for 10:00 -11:00 ET on Nov. 14, will address "The Enterprise Mindset for Mission Success." Booz Allen Executive Vice President Joseph Logue, and Senior Vice President and retired Air Force General Henry Obering III, plus a panel of experts, will field questions from an audience heavily comprised of Department of Defense (DoD) decision makers.
Following the Washington, D.C. event, the "Smart Command Series" will feature town halls in Tampa, Fla. on Feb. 11, 2014 and Los Angeles on Feb.19, 2014. The series will conclude with a digital town hall event to release the results of a research study on the defense acquisitions process for C4ISR systems, broadcast nationwide on March 5, 2014.
