Boot Campaign Partners with Armed Forces Foundation for Fundraising Day on NFL on FOX

TYLER, Texas, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boot Campaign, a grassroots military appreciation and veteran awareness campaign started by five women from Texas known as the Boot Girls, was featured on FOX Sports' NFL on FOX on Sunday, December 11 along with one of its partner charities, The Armed Forces Foundation, to help raise funds for military families.

The 20 second spot features NFL sideline reporter Jay Glazer in The Boot Campaign's signature boots and the Fox NFL Sunday Gang talking about the campaign which, through the sale of military combat boots, donates proceeds to a group of partner charities that work with soldiers healing from a variety of physical and emotional combat wounds, embodying the campaign motto that, "When They Come Back, We Give Back." The Boot Campaign recently partnered with another fellow charity, Military Warriors Support Foundation, to surprise wounded soldier Staff Sergeant Michael Brown (U.S. Army Ret.) and his family with a new mortgage-free home in Chicago, IL. The home giveaway will be featured in the "Christmas Wish" special on the NBC Chicago show, Weekends with Whitney. The special will air on Chicago's NBC 5.2 on December 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th.
