Former Nike Exec Greg Johnson Joins Agency as CMO and SVP
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Greg Johnson, formerly of Nike, Johnson & Johnson, Saatchi & Saatchi and J. Walter Thompson, joins Charlotte agency BooneOakley as chief marketing officer and senior vice president, according to David Oakley, the agency's president and founding partner.

A native North Carolinian and graduate of the UNC-CH School of Journalism, Johnson spent nearly two decades in New York and Portland working on powerhouse brands like Nike, Brand Jordan, Procter & Gamble and more. In addition, he was CEO of Orbo Sports, a global, multi-sport digital media company backed by Silicon Valley, honing his experience in digital strategy. Johnson also holds an M.A. in theology from Western Seminary in Portland, serving as an organizational specialist and strategic leader with a century-old mega church in Oregon.
