BonitaSoft Announces "Pimp My Bonita" Contest Winner
SAN FRANCISCO, July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Cyber security expert Hadi El-Khoury's entry recognized as top submission
BonitaSoft, the leader in open source business process management (BPM), today announced the results of its "Pimp My Bonita" contest and recognized French cyber security expert Hadi El-Khoury's entry as the winning submission. El-Khoury designed a security analysis tool that assessed the potential risk a given process poses to an organization throughout its lifespan for Sekimia, a security consulting firm.
The Pimp My Bonita contest challenged members of BonitaSoft's open source community to design innovative processes using Bonita Open Solution. After sorting through dozens of entries, BonitaSoft narrowed submissions down to five finalists, which were then evaluated by an independent panel of industry experts: Jay Lyman of 451 Research, Neil Ward-Dutton of MWD Advisors, and Bruce Silver of BPMS Watch.
El Khoury's submission, MindsetPimp, is built on the jQuery framework and forecasts the potential risk of a given business process. Individuals can map critical processes in Bonita Studio and then send data to Sekimia's software suite via an XML connector. Judges cited the entry's extensibility and rich visualization features as particularly compelling factors in leading them to select it as the winning submission.
