Company Adds More Than 200 new Customers, Closes new Funding Round in 2011 to Become Fastest-growing BPM Provider
BonitaSoft, the leader in open source business process management (BPM), today announced corporate growth for 2011. The company achieved a record year, tripling its customer base to more than 300 and growing total revenue by 350 percent. The company added more than 200 new customers in 2011, including Stanford University, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, SNCF, Portugal Telecom, Australian Department of Sustainability and Environment, Galapagos Province, and Sammons Financial Services.
In 2011, Bonita Open Solution reinforced its status as the leading open source BPM suite. Bonita Open Solution reached one million downloads, and the BonitaSoft Open Source Community welcomed its 10,000th member. Bonita Open Solution received recognition and a number of open source awards for its open source leadership: recognized by Gartner as "the only open source BPMS (Business Process Management Suite)" in its open source BPM report; awarded "Best Modeling Tool" at EclipseCon 2011; and received InfoWorld's Bossie Award for Open Source Application.
BonitaSoft also aggressively grew its ecosystem throughout the year. The company expanded partnerships to more than 40 system integrator partners in more than 20 different countries.
