Bone Solutions Inc. Announces New Board Members to support the Company's future growth and development
DALLAS, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Bone Solutions Inc. (BSI), an orthobiologics technology company located in Colleyville, TX, announces three new board members.
Upon commercial launch of OsteoCrete® in Oct, 2017 the BSI board made the decision to actively recruit new board members who would bring commercial, financial and orthopedic industry experience and contacts to the board to support BSI's future development and growth.

David J. Illingworth
Mr. Illingworth was the Chief Executive Officer and a director of Smith & Nephew plc, a leading global orthopaedics devices public company, from 2007 until his retirement in 2011. Prior to 2007, he served as Smith & Nephew's Chief Operating Officer in 2006, and as President of the orthopaedics business from 2002 to 2006. Prior to his tenure with Smith & Nephew, Mr. Illingworth held senior executive positions with VidaMed, Inc., Nellcor Puritan Bennett LLC and GE Medical Systems, Inc. Mr. Illingworth has extensive senior business leadership experience in the area of health care and medical products, as well as in-depth international knowledge of the life sciences and institutional health care sectors.
Mr. Illingworth has held a number of Director positions ranging from early stage startups to both privately held and publicly traded corporations. Mr. Illingworth currently serves as Director of Varian Medical a world leader in cancer treatment where he is Chairman of the Governance and Nominations Committee and member of the Ethics and Compliance Committee. He also serves as Director of Domtar and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Employee Health, Safety, and Sustainability Committee.
Cecil H. Rorabeck, OC, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Rorabeck is a former orthopedic surgeon at the London Health Sciences Centre and a professor of Orthopedic Surgery [emeritus] at the University of Western Ontario (Western).
He received his medical degree from Western and his surgical training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Rorabeck joined the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as its 42nd President in February 2013, and previously served on several Royal College committees, including Education (vice president), Corporate Affairs, Governance and Royal College Canada International. He is a past-president of the Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society and has served as president of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.
Kevin Morano
Kevin Morano is Managing Director of KEM Capital LLC, a private investment and advisory firm and CFO of Ideal Implant Incorporated. He is also a Co-Founder of Bear Creek Mining, a public junior exploration company with the world's largest undeveloped silver deposit; was a past CFO, advisor and/or investor in several turnaround or startups in laser-based medical and dental devices, auto and industrial batteries, stem cell research and real estate development; and was previously at ASARCO Inc, an international mining company, for over 21 years including six years as CFO and then as President and COO until ASARCO was acquired. He serves on the Boards of Bear Creek Mining, Golden Minerals, Ideal Implant and Dental Photonics; previously on the Boards of ASARCO, Southern Peru Copper, Coeur d'Alene Mining and Datawatch.
