Bonanza Goldfields gets final trench update from Gold Explorations LLC
PHOENIX, AZ, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Bonanza Goldfields Corp (BONZ:OTCBB)IS pleased to announce that it has received a final update on the last part of Phase 1 of trenching on our two unpatented placer claims (320 acres) located in the Vulture Mining District, Maricopa County Arizona on the northeastern flank of the Belmont Mountains.
Gold Explorations LLC reports that Phase 1 trenching has been completed on the BRB Project. A total of 1403 feet of trenching was sampled for placer gold and rock samples taken where favorable rocks were encountered. As previously mentioned two mineralized zones were uncovered in Trench #1.
Trench #2 was designed to explore for placer gold only and only 2 rock samples were taken from moderately silicified material.
Trench #3 encountered mineralization in the last 30 feet at the extreme south end of the trench. This visible mineralization consisted of pyrite, sphalerite and galena. The rocks were intensely silicified with abundant iron and manganese oxides.
"From our visual inspection of the obviously mineralized rock samples we feel that we have a good chance to develope an orebody at depth, possibly to the south. However the assays will point us in the direction of our next phase" said Steve Karolyi
Chris Tomkinson states "we only needed to do just over 1400 feet of trenching in Phase 1. This leaves 1600 feet available to trench in Phase 2 under our current BLM approval of 3000 feet. Once we ship our assays and get results we can strategize the area to concentrate Phase 2 to develop the ore body further."
