Bollente Companies expands national distribution and sales partners to meet increasing demand for its trutankless® water heater
Large-volume orders for the energy-efficient tankless heater grow as the industry braces for higher efficiency requirements in 2015
PHOENIX, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bollente Companies, Inc. (OTCQB: BOLC) has added several key strategic sales and distribution partners to its growing list of suppliers, installers and rep agencies for the trutankless water heater as demand for a reliable whole-home electric tankless solution builds in anticipation of government regulatory changes set to impact the industry in April 2015.
Bollente has established national wholesale distribution with partners Hughes Supply, whose parent company Hajoca is the nation's largest privately held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and industrial supplies with more than 350 outlets; and WinWholesale, which operates in 240 locations and 91 showrooms.
To help meet demand, the company has brought in outside sales representatives in select markets, including Meridian Marketing Group in the Southwest; HOK Sales in the Midwest; and Upscale Sales in Florida.
Additionally, the trutankless brand continues to gain momentum with its base of preferred installers.
"It's been great to see an immediate and urgent demand for trutankless from the wholesale channel and plumbing contractors, and we're thrilled to work with these industry leaders," said Nicole Krol, vice president of sales for trutankless. "We're pioneering an entirely new water heating technology, and we couldn't have asked for a better response."
Effective April 16, 2015, updates to the National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) will require higher Energy Factor (EF) ratings on residential gas, electric, oil and tankless gas water heaters. These requirements will have a significant impact on installers, homebuilders and homeowners-- particularly those who install or purchase less efficient tank water heaters, which are currently used in a majority of U.S. homes. In order to comply with the new EF requirements, tank heaters will need additional insulation, making them larger and increasing the likelihood of relocation within the home, at an added expense to the homeowner. Large-capacity tank heaters will migrate to noisy heat pump technology and require a 10'x10' room or duct to an adjoining room, which may not be feasible in many homes. Builders of new homes will also have to account for the additional space requirements and increased costs.
"With its small footprint and inherent energy efficiency, trutankless offers a tremendous solution for consumers and industry professionals alike as the NAECA deadline approaches," said Jeffrey Rassas, Executive Chairman of trutankless. "The overwhelming response we've seen already is an exciting indication of things to come."
trutankless will be an exhibitor at the American Society of Plumbing Engineers Convention and Exposition, Sept. 22 and 23 in Chicago (booth #1638). The company has earned significant industry and media buzz at national and regional homebuilding shows, including the recent Pacific Coast Builders Conference, Sunbelt Builders Show and Southeast Building Conference. The water heater took home the "Best Home Technology Product" award at the NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas earlier this year.
