Boldly Exploring Empyrea In Wizard101

PLANO, Texas, Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- KingsIsle™ Entertainment released a new expansion today to Wizard101^® where players can now quest through Empyrea, Part One – the first expansion in an epic two-part series.

Empyrea Part One brings a new sci-fi twist to Wizard101 as colorful characters like "Captain Pork" and his sidekick Doctor "Beans" join players on an epic adventure to reach Empyrea, a world of chaos enveloped in dangerous storms. New friends, stories and adventures will be found during an epic race between Grandfather Spider and Grandmother Raven as they speed toward the Chaos Heart at the very center of the Spiral.

"It'll require a lot of teamwork if you're going to make it to the Core of The Spiral," said Josef Hall, vice president and creative director at KingsIsle Entertainment. "Some of Wizard101's oldest mysteries will unfold before you as you brave the chaos and forge alliances in a universe coming undone."

Players will increase their levels from 120 to 125 during their journey through Empyrea Part One and unlock new Shadow Magic Spells to add to their arsenal of spell cards. Bundled with this expansion also comes a new type of "Revered" weapon crafting and some new creature comforts like bank size increases and purchasable backpack expansions.
