Boies, Schiller & Flexner Names Amy Mauser Administrative Partner For Its Washington, D.C., Office

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Boies, Schiller & Flexner has named Amy Mauser as Administrative Partner in Washington, D.C., where she will oversee the operations and management of the firm's second-largest office.

Ms. Mauser played a leading role in one of the highest-profile trials of 2014, assisting Boies, Schiller & Flexner Chairman David Boies in seeking more than $40 billion in damages from the U.S. government on behalf of Starr International and other shareholders of American Insurance Group (AIG). The trial, in the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., included testimony from former Treasury and Federal Reserve officials Henry Paulson, Timothy Geithner, and Ben Bernanke on the government takeover of AIG in 2008.

Ms. Mauser, who takes over as Administrative Partner from Mike Brille, joined the firm in 2000. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and antitrust law. She has represented Fortune 500 companies in antitrust matters in federal and state courts, both as defendants and plaintiffs, at the trial and appellate levels. She has also led internal investigations for clients.

Mr. Brille, who is completing his third tour as Administrative Partner in Washington, will return to focus on client work as a Partner in Washington.
