Boies, Schiller & Flexner Elects New Partners
NEW YORK, Dec. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Litigation powerhouse Boies, Schiller & Flexner has elected nine new lawyers to its partnership, effective January 1, 2015, at its offices in New York, Washington, Armonk, Miami, Oakland and Santa Monica.

Hampton Dellinger appears in federal, state and administrative courts, where he handles major trial, appellate, and regulatory matters. He currently represents women soccer players in a dispute over the playing surface and other gender equity issues at the 2015 World Cup in Canada. He is a former Deputy Attorney General of North Carolina.
Ian Dumain has a commercial litigation practice with a focus on high-stakes, complex arbitration and litigation. His cases have involved accounting fraud and malpractice, legal malpractice, contract and licensing disputes, and financial fraud and business torts. In 2014 he defended Guidant at trial against a $7 billion claim arising from the alleged breach of a merger agreement.
John LaSalle focuses on complex commercial litigation and serves as the firm's Deputy General Counsel. He was part of a team that defended American Express in a seven week trial of government antitrust claims. He also helped Starr International Company win a jury verdict on claims brought against it by AIG in 2009.
Michael Mitchell concentrates on commercial litigation, class actions and antitrust. Recent representative matters include defense of Delta Air Lines in connection with the imposition of fees for checked baggage; and defending Barclays in multi-jurisdictional litigation involving the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR).
Beko Reblitz-Richardson has participated in complex trial litigation, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property, unfair competition, and general commercial disputes. In nine years with the firm, he has taken part in five trials, including the successful constitutional challenge to California's ban on same-sex marriage and a copyright case in which the jury awarded the firm's client $1.3 billion in damages.
Shani Rivaux has significant responsibility in representing several of the firm’s clients, including Philip Morris USA, DuPont, and WellCare of Florida, Inc. She is also committed to pro bono matters, including an appointment by the Honorable Michael A. Hanzman to represent the interests of a minor. She was recently named one of the 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers in Miami-Dade County and is currently a Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
Josh Schiller is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice includes intellectual property, securities, antitrust, entertainment, the First Amendment, art and music law, civil rights, and bankruptcy and restructuring. This year, he won a settlement for The Explorers Club in a trademark dispute with Diageo, and in 2012 he successfully argued a landmark copyright case at the Second Circuit on behalf of the artist Richard Prince.
Dawn Smalls rejoins the firm from the Ford Foundation, where she oversaw $40 million in grants aimed at boosting the voice of marginalized communities in civic life. She has substantial experience in government, politics, and philanthropy, including roles at the Department of Health and Human Services, the White House, and the political campaigns of President Obama and Secretary Clinton. She was previously an associate at the firm.
Bill Ward has successfully represented companies in high-stakes patent and trade secrets cases involving a wide range of technologies, including recombinant therapeutic antibodies, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telecommunication systems, radio frequency identification systems, computer memory hardware, military hardware, and computer software.
