Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Angela Combs joins Skin and Cancer Associates Miramar Dermatology

MIRAMAR, Fla., Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Angela Combs, DO, FAOCD, recently joined Skin and Cancer Associates at its Miramar Dermatology practice. Dr. Combs is a board certified dermatologist who offers a full range of medical, surgical and dermatology services.

She earned her B.A. and medical degrees at Nova Southeastern University and completed her internship at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah. Dr. Combs went on to complete her residency in dermatology and cutaneous surgery at Broward General Medical Center, where she served as chief resident in dermatology and received the Dermatology Resident of the Year award.

After completing her residency, Dr. Combs served as an assistant professor in dermatology at Nova, where she trained medical students, interns and residents. She also served as interim program director of dermatology at Broward General Medical Center.

Dr. Combs is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.

She joins Dr. Jay S. Gottlieb, founder of Miramar Dermatology, who is board certified in dermatology, facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

Their practice offers an extensive list of services including: microdermabrasion, various fillers and laser surgery procedures, photorejuvenation as well as treatments for various conditions including: skin carcinomas, acne, rosacea, and hair loss, among others.
