BMA-Minnesota Event Focuses on Adding Video Content to the Marketing Mix
A panel discussion will provide best practices on developing and sharing video assets to drive sales, convey a company's unique brand reputation and improve organic search
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Minnesota chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA-Minnesota) will host a March event featuring experts from Computype, United Healthcare and Morsekode to discuss why video is so important and how marketers can best use video content to drive sales, convey a company's unique brand reputation, and improve organic search capabilities.
The use of online videos is one of the most explosive growth areas in B2B marketing communications – with viewership rising 39 percent in the past year alone. B2B marketers must often convey more complex stories than their consumer counterparts, and are finding that multimedia assets such as videos are highly effective in helping audiences understand the value of a company's products and services.
The panel will share examples of recent videos – outlining best practices during the development process, elements that will impact pricing, and how they measure success against more traditional product marketing investments such as brochures and product manuals.
The panel of experts includes:
- Diane Slayton, Vice President, United Healthcare
- Mark Morse, CEO/Executive Creative Director, Morsekode
- Joal McAlister, Industrial Market Manager, Computype
The event will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, Minn. Breakfast and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8 to 9 a.m.
The cost of the event is $24 for BMA members and $48 for guests. Attendees can register online at www.bmaminnesota.org through March 10, 2012. There will be a limited number of walk-up registrations are available.
