Blue Star Gas Represents Alliance AutoGas at Major Alternative Energy Conference and Expo

LONG BEACH, Calif., May 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance AutoGas partner Blue Star Gas is appearing at the 2011 ACT Expo and Propane Engine Fuel Summit this week to educate attendees on the benefits of running fleet vehicles on propane autogas. Blue Star Gas Director of Marketing Darren Engle represents nationwide autogas network Alliance AutoGas in multiple forums, May 3-6. Alliance AutoGas provides autogas vehicle conversions, on-site fueling infrastructure and fuel supply, as well as ongoing technical support to public and private fleets.

Engle, an autogas expert who recently testified in the Oregon State House of Representatives regarding alternative fuel legislation, is hosting two presentations early in the week for the Propane Summit: one about autogas vehicle offerings from Alliance AutoGas, and another specifically regarding infrastructure solutions for fleets. The Propane Summit offers a live webcast from the Long Beach Convention Center.

During the ACT Expo Infrastructure panel on Thursday, May 5, Engle's presentation titled "Right Here, Right Now: Why Fleets Across America are Choosing Propane Autogas" will detail how autogas is growing in popularity in the United States as a low-cost, eco-friendly, American-made and reliable alternative fuel. Engle will also provide an overview of current autogas infrastructure in the United States and outline affordable fleet fueling options. Two Alliance AutoGas vehicles will be featured during the ACT Expo, including a Crown Victoria police interceptor for test-driving and a Ford Expedition on display in the Propane Education and Research Council's "Propane Pavilion" in booth 524.
