MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Ridge Partners' Managing Partner Jim Corey and Senior Managing Director Jerry Hughes will lead panels at this year's Private Equity International Operating Partners Forum in New York on October 19^th and 20^th. The two-day event brings together private equity professionals who are focused on value creation within portfolio companies.

On Wednesday morning, Jim Corey will lead the panel on "Factoring revenue growth into the traditional value creation plan." Using insights gained from a recent survey of operating partners conducted by Blue Ridge Partners, the panel will discuss proven approaches for early teaming with portfolio company CEOs to identify and implement revenue growth initiatives that improve EBITDA performance and exit valuations.

Jerry Hughes will guide the Thursday afternoon panel discussion on "What to do when things go wrong: Extracting value in a distressed environment." The panel of industry leaders will address how to deal with misaligned incentives, strategy failures, failed new product development and under-performance. They will also probe how to take the pulse of the corporate culture and use it to overcome problems and achieve success.
