COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Ocean Coding, a division of the Hondros Education Group, announces that it has received approval from the Ohio State Board of Career Schools to offer grants to students. The new Blue Ocean Coding Bootcamp may now offer eligible students a Women in Coding Grant ($1,000) and a Veterans in Coding Bootcamp ($1,000).
Blue Ocean Coding Bootcamp is a 12-week immersive course where students will learn the coding skills to launch a successful computer-programming career. A small class size, intensive course work and hands-on experience taught by industry experts will result in students who are prepared and confident in their coding abilities.
"We are proud to offer these grants to two important subsets of the programming and coding community," said Tina Lapp, president. "By offering more financial options to students, we hope to provide greater access to individuals seeking to pursue careers as full stack programmers."
The next Blue Ocean Coding Bootcamp begins on February 13, 2017. Learn more at the Blue Ocean Bootcamp Open House on February 1 or register at blueoceancoding.com.
