Chris Kay will travel to nation's capital to discuss regulatory topics
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chris Kay, CEO and founder of the Scottsdale, Arizona-based online marketing company, Blue Global Media, is slated to attend the upcoming Follow the Lead workshop on lead generation, hosted by the Federal Trade Commission. The workshop will be held on Oct. 30, in Washington, D.C., at the Constitution Center.
During the workshop, Kay, along with other attendees that will include industry representatives, consumer advocates and government regulators, will explore the growing use of online lead generation in industries such as consumer lending and education.

Topics covered during the workshop will include how online lead generation works and its variations across different industries; what types of lead generation conduct may be unlawful according to FTC policies; best practices for entities that generate and sell consumer leads; and how consumers can avoid unlawful conduct in the online marketplace. Earlier this year, the FTC invited the public to submit research, recommendations for topics of discussion and requests to participate as panelists.
