Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's Scott Serota Joins Brain Research Foundation Board of Directors
CHICAGO, Feb. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Brain Research Foundation (BRF) today announced that Scott Serota, president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), has joined its board of directors. "Scott has expressed keen interest in our Foundation and the work we support," stated Dr. Terre A. Constantine, executive director and chief executive officer of BRF. "We are fortunate to add someone with his extensive health care experience and passion for science and research to our board."
BCBSA, a federation of 36 independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, received BRF's 2016 Frederic A. Gibbs award for community service. Mr. Serota accepted the award on behalf of the association.
